Young Artists’ Studio
A two-week summer program focused on collaborative playmaking with students in grades 3 through 12. In these workshops, young performers are provided a safe, brave space to find their artistic voice using skills found in improvisation, playwriting, movement, and acting. In a fun-filled environment, children collaborate, write and perform a brand new play about a topic that is of their own imagination and interest. Then this world premiere play is shared in an open rehearsal format to an audience. Each young artist grows their artistic voice while also learning social and emotional skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking.
